In stitches

Apologies blogworld - I'm running late!

Good evening all,

This post should've been up earlier this evening when the new challenge over at All Dressed Up challenge blog went live, but I forgot the date today and realised too late to put up my post!

Still better late than never - and here I am!

The challenge this time is 'Sewing - Faux or real', now you may recall me crowing sometime last year because I'd got a sewing machine and real stitches appeared on my cards.  Well, that was short lived and I've not stitched properly on my cards since.  I did try proper stitches for this card, but the machine wasn't playing ball and I'd left making the card so late, again!, that I didn't have time to play about.

So my stitching is faux, or as us commoners say - fake!, but you feel free to do real stitching.  I promise I'll be impressed!  As I am, impressed that is, by the cards my Teamies have made - pop on over to the blog to see - I'm sure you'll be impressed too!

This is my card:

I used:

Digi stamp:
All Dressed Up - All Wrapped Up
coloured with Copics

Dies:
Die-namics - Blueprints No.1 (for the strip of paper)

Paper:
Prima Marketing Inc - Annalee

Anything else?
Flat backed pearls
Craftwork Cards - sentiment

And that's it folks!  Please remember to join in with the challenge you must use an All Dressed Up product (image or paper) and follow the theme.  The challenge closes on the 2nd June and the winner will receive three digi images of their choice from the shop.

If you fancy a bit of crafty chat there's a very friendly FaceBook group which you are free to join - we don't bite promise!!

Hope everyone has a good weekend and see you next week,

Sarah

A challenge or two:

Crafty Little Fairies: May - In the garden

The Paper Shelter: Challenge #158 - Girly Girl

Inky Chicks: Clean And Simple

I adore this card. I love the image...I think it is totally fabulous. Her hair looks amazing! You've colored her flawlessly. I love it to pieces!!!! OMGosh I really really like this and I'm not saying anything I should. First, business...thank you for joining us at The Paper Shelter challenge for our Girly Girl challenge this week. Now personal, I adore this card and your blog is freaking great. This card is so cute with the "fake" sewing. Hahahahha. And guess what Sarah, the people who have perfect stitching on their cards...a lot of them have those electronic machines. You and me have the old fashioned ones that don't stop at the corner and turn perfectly. :) So, 'faux' stitching to me is darned good. The couple of times I have stitched, I don't want to give the card away cause forget the challenge...the sewing makes the card a winner for me. Love your card, your blog and your posts. You're real..just like me and I love it!!!!!!! Hugs and good luck in your challenges!! --Gail
