And again!

Hello blogworld,

Me again - getting to be quite like old times, isn't it ;-)

So this post is my DT card for the new challenge over at Moving along with the Times, it's the lovely Red's turn to host the challenge and this week the challenge she has chosen is 'Embossing' which can be either dry or wet embossing.

Our sponsor this week, with a lovely prize, is:

So this the card I came up with - I did toy with getting my heat gun and embossing powders out, but they are buried somewhere in a box somewhere in the dining / craft room and so I just played it safe and got out one of my favourite embossing folders.

Front shot:

The close up:

The Arty Farty shot:

 I used:

Stamp:
Funky Kits - Simply Sassy: Luv a Latte
coloured with Promarkers and Copics

Dies:
Nesties - oval and scalloped oval

Papers:
The stripy background is freebie from Bearly Mine
Flowery paper - no idea, it's the final scrap from a very old 12x12

Anything else?
Dots and stripes embossing folder (not sure who by, another case of a lost packet!)
Craftwork Cards - sentiment
paper trims and heart - from my stuff

Thanks for popping by the old blogeroo and I do hope you go take a peek at my Teamies fab creations.

See you soon,
Sarah

Finally, I got back to join in a challenge, or two?,

The Sugar Bowl: Challenge 103 - May 2013

I love Promarkers: Anything Goes - I have used Copics for the pink, but everything else is Promakers.  Hope this is OK?  Please feel free to delete if not.

Me again...back to say that I did think of using the shed as a scrapbook room when we bought this place. We have a self catering suite in our basement and I wanted to include the whole basement and use the shed. DH quickly pointed out that I could slip on the hilly bit in the icy weather or wet weather...I do fall easily so I let him talk me into keeping a big room downstairs for my craftroom. I don't have a window as we allocated all the windows to the suite to keep it nice and bright.
We fancied making a bit of a lounge/bar with a playroom upstairs....we've never done it as DH was always so busy when he worked...and we were too afraid to let the kids up there...what if they fell!!!
So we use it for a garden shed for now...but perhaps will gussy it up one day! I think it is 10 x 12 feet or maybe even 15...never measured it...
