You'll be glad to hear (I'm sure!) that I am nearing the end of painting duties. Second coat on the two end walls today and then the only painting left to do is woodwork, which there is still a lot of but nowhere near as much as those walls and darn ceiling (5 coats on that ceiling - just goes to show you should buy good quality paint. Which we did not!!!).
Anyway I'm supposed to be here showing you my DT card for Moving Along With the Times not going on about our D.I.Y. efforts!
This week my Teamie Tammy has chosen the theme of 'Furry Friends' - so we'd like to see animals on your cards / projects please.
You would not believe how tortuous this card was to make! It started out with loads of layers and patterned paper - but ended up as you see it now, very little paper and no embellies. I don't know what I did (wrong papers, wrong colour card used to matt the layers, wrong Mojo!!) but it just didn't work - so I took it apart and started again.

Ha, and just as I'd finished it I decided to add the rub-on sentiment - well I almost went through the card rubbing on!! It still looks rather dodgy in real life!

Such a pretty card, the image and papers are gorgeous! I did smile at your adventure with the rub-on, but only because I've been there myself!!
I'm glad the painting is coming along, slowly but surely. Whenever we decorate my hubby always does the ceiling because a)he's 6'1 and I'm 4'11; and b)because I get vertigo climbing up a ladder. Consequently c)I get speckles of white paint in my hair, which is not a svelte and fashionable look!!!!!
