I'm back and so soon! Again though this is just a really quick post to join in with the wonderful ladies at Less is More. I'm still struggling for time so this week I've just done one card for the challenge but I will be posting two cards.
The brief was:
IN THE FRAME
We would like to see a frame of some sort or something in a frame... we'd like you to be as inventive as you like.
You could doodle, draw, emboss, ink, paint, colour, print, stamp, emboss resist, mask or any other method you can come up with to get a frame of sorts into your design.
I really didn't have any inspiration with this at all and I'm beginning to wonder with myself with LiM if I'll ever produce a great card the likes of the other entries that I see every week, but I still keep plodding away! Have I mentioned that I'm stubborn? Once I start something I really do not like admitting defeat. So, Mandi and Chrissie, I'm afraid it's not very inventive cards that I'm entering, oh dear!
I'm also playing around with my photo editing software, trying to get a good picture. Hope the pics come out OK on your screens.
So here is the card I am entering into the challenge:
The image is from Crafty Individuals and the sentiment from TPC Studios - Boho Blooms. Then all I did was colour the poppies with my Prisma pencils.
This card I'm not entering but thought I'd show it anyway - it's along the lines of the last challenge, but with less stamps used (just two). I'm not sure that it really fits the bill and I'm not even sure that I like it! And what would I use it for?! I'll leave it up to you to see what you think.
I will most likely miss next weeks' challenge as it is my daughters fourth birthday on Wednesday and we are going away for a few days this weekend, when we get back it will be full pelt into arranging her party. I am really hoping that the weather cheers up. We've got a water party in the garden planned, and by water I don't mean rain!
So probably see you all in two weeks,
Cheerio
Sarah
P.S. You know I'm always saying these posts are short - can you imagine how long they would be if I let myself go! I always was very good at the 1,000 word essay at school!

Great card Sarah, the image looks really good with just the poppies coloured. xx
2 wonderful cards!
Your cards are absolutely spectacular.
The framed one, the first, is fabulous, I love it!
The second is stunning too, simple but so elegant!
Maybe it would be good to invite a friend for a girlie evening or drinkies out on the town!
Enjoy your weekend, and birthday wishes to your little girlie
Thank you as always

Well you could have a REAL water part in my garden today... lots of rain... and tomorrow we have tickets for the Test Match at the Rose Bowl... although I don't image a lot of balls will be bowled.
Your cards are lovely... both of them.
