Variations on a theme

Hi bloggers

Here I am again with another card.  So why this title?  Well it's the same stamp as yesterday but in different colours.  I've got quite a few stamps you see and some of them I've had for ages but they have never seen the light of day or ink!  So I decided that every time I stamp an image I would stamp it twice and make another card with the same image.  I'm also going to pull out my older stamps and use them before buying new ones.

I wouldn't say I'm on a stamp ban, but I'm trying to cut back the amount I buy!  Instead I'm moving onto equipment - nesties, Go-Kreate Dies, Die-namics - that sort of thing (oh and some paper pads!).

Can I also just say hello to my new followers - I can't believe I've got over 80 of you now.  Are you sure you are all feeling OK, wanting to follow my ramblings on my blog!!!  Seriously, thanks for following me and I hope you enjoy what you see.

So here is the card:

Detail of image:

I used:

CC Designs - Sweet November Stamps; April.  Coloured with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers.
Image die-cut and matted using nesties.  Touch of Stickles glitter glue on the flower on her headband.
The papers are Basic Grey - Sultry pad.
Ribbon and charm from my stuff.
Lili of the Valley sentiment, also die-cut with nesties.
Craftwork Cards card blank.

I'm entering this into:

Sketch N Stash - Challenge 72, stash is either the stamp or the paper pad (which I've had for a good year, and this is the first time I've used it!)

Make it Monday - Anything goes linky party

Hi Sarah, just been catching up on your cards and goodies (and waffling!!(just joking lol)). I spy the new first edition papers, oooh lucky you! Good idea with the method of using stamps, ive just had a clearout and put loads on ebay to raise some pennies for going to my big craft show at the secc on the 30th oct. The only problem is not spending any between now and the 30th!!
Love and hugs

What an adorable image Sarah. You sound so sensible re the crafting! I am dreadful for spending. I often get stamps on a whim and never ink them. If I used all of my unused stamps before I bought new ones I may not be buying any for a while!!! I really should put a curb on buying but blog hopping doesn't help! Hugs Rebekah xx

Adorable card Sarah! That is the cutest image and your coloring looks fabulous. I need to also cut back on buying so many stamps and ink the ones I've never used. I guess it's an addiction I don't want cured lol!

Hi Sarah - another adorable card with this image - love your colouring and the shades you have chosen.
And I admire your resolve to use all the stamps you have, and wish you luck carrying it out! I, for one, could do with joining you in similar thinking!

Fab colouring my darling and I love these scrummy papers. I like where your heads at getting the new 'stuff' instead of other 'stuff. The FMs cleared Baggage Control, no problem. The pales are very pale and a couple took ages to prime, but I love 'em. xxx

Hi Sarah, This is so soft & lovely & good thinking with the stamps....I always stamp 2 or 3 images when I get stamps out then I've a couple of spares ready but without the hassle of getting the stamp out & cleaning it again if you see what I mean! I like your almost stamp ban too, cut back on stamps but buy other stuff instead - genius!! xx
