What a 'mare!!

Hi blogworld,

Well just as I decide that I'm going to get back into cards and blogging - the internet goes and disappears on us!  Not only the internet but the phone as well!!

What a quiet couple of days we've had - just goes to show how much I rely on the internet to waste my time :-)  Instead I read a bit more, paid a bit more attention to my Emily and actually talked to hubby - shock horror!!!

Of course hubby was completely lost without the 'net - he had to actually get on with something!!!

Anyway we're back now and I'm here, although belatedly, with my post for the new Moving Along With the Times challenge - we've all had a long summer break and are now back, refreshed for our challenges.  We've lost a few Teamies along the way, but had some new people join us - so why not pop on over to the blog and have a lookse - we've also got a very easy challenge this time: it's 'Anything Goes'.

So here is my card:

Front shot:

The close up:

The Arty Farty shot:

Hmmm, I'm trying pleats again - tho I don't think with a huge amount of success!!

I used:

Digi stamp:
Pollycraft - Lil' Dumplings - Fleur
coloured with my Promarkers

Papers:
First Edition - Blank Canvas and J'Adore

Dies:
Nesties
Die-namics - for the corners
Memory Box - for the fancy edge

Anything else?
Chipboard embellishments from my stuff

Would love to see you over at MAWTT!

Sarah

A challenge or two:

Pollycraft - Challenge 8: Birthday Girls

I love Promarkers: Challenge 188 - Songs.  Now I was thinking I'd go with I wish I was punk rocker with flowers in my hair by Sandi Thom but while I was looking for a clip to link up with I found this little song (The Lumineers - Flowers in Your hair) and I thought is was a beautiful song!  So I hope I'm not breaking rules by saying either song please ;-)

Inky Chicks: Challenge #14 - use two different die-cuts.

PS - We grew pumpkins for the first time this year - look at what we got! Don't know if they're completely ripe but they fell off the plants, not picked, so down to the house they came. Now any recipes for pumpkins, anyone???  All suggestions gratefully received.

Great card Sarah, I like the layout and papers.
Fantastic looking pumpkins. I've got four growing, not quite ready yet but I am looking forward to pumpkin soup.
Lot's of things you can do with pumpkins. Soup, curry, pie, stews, risotto, roasted.....

Hi Sarah, great card. You have had a bumper harvest haven't you, was going to suggest soup and roasted but the lady above beat me to it. Do try scattering the seeds on a baking tray sprinkling with salt or salt and pepper, or salt and a bit of chilli powder and toast them in the oven. Delicious! take care.
