Helllooo blogworld
Can't believe the clocks have gone back today - the year is just disappearing so quickly. Hubby reminded me yesterday that Christmas is only a short time away - my response was don't tell me until November and he said that's next week!!! Arggghhhh!
I am sorry I've been a bad blogger this week. I've hardly visited any of you, so I will make serious efforts to remedy that either tonight or next week.
We ended a busy week with some friends of Emily's coming over on Friday. So there were three girls here of 5, 4 and 3 yrs and a tiny baby boy (who was very well behaved, hardly made a peep!). They had a lovely time, up until the afternoon!
The girls' mum and I were talking at the corner of the house, with Em and her friend playing round in the small garden over on the other side, when I heard screaming, it was the friend who had fallen into our pond! I haven't run that fast for years - didn't think I had it in me any more but, my god, I flew! I only looked away for seconds, after checking that I could see them both, then one of 'em had gone. Luckily it isn't too deep a pond and, with her friend being 5 already, she is tall enough to climb out again, but she was soaked and shocked. Got her in and cleaned her up, by the time we all calmed down I was in tears. Can't believe that happened when they were visiting at my house - I felt terrible! Her mum was fine, very calm and said no harm done - me I was a shivering wreck.
Right I think that is enough of my waffling, and I've done mega waffling today! So I'd best show you my card! I made this for a challenge, but I've missed it - again - so I'll post it and then go wander see if I can find a challenge to enter it into. Otherwise I'm just sharing with you all!
So here is card:
I'm actually quite pleased with this one - I coloured the image horribly with just my Promarkers, but then just as I was about to bin it, I thought of Vicky and Lisa and all the others of you who colour with Promarkers and Prismas, so I tried adding shading and depth with my Prismas - and hey presto!
So details:
Image is Tiddly Inks: Druscilla - coloured with Promarkers and Prisma pencils and a little bit of stickles glitter on the wings.
Paper: Prima Inc: Fairy Flora paper stack
Trim across the top is a Memory Box Die - Meridian Border
The word is made up from rub-on letters that I've had for ages.
There I think I've bored you all silly with my waffle, I'm off now to waffle away on your blogs!
See you soon,
Sarah
Ah-ha! I've found a challenge, or two:
The Secret Crafter - Challenge #158; Spooky or Whimsical - I hope my card falls into whimsical?
Polka Doodles - Week 43 Challenge - Mystical and Magical
My little corner of blogland for me to record the things I make. Thank you for dropping by, everyone is welcome (although you should be aware I talk alot - even if it is to myself!).

Got to be quick
Hi all,
This is going to be a really quick post from me - I've dinner in the oven as we speak and it's about to go ping!
We've had another busy day - hence me and hubby eating way after Em has gone to bed, I'll be back at some point to waffle on about it all - including me freaking over something that happened - but for now I just want to join in with a challenge and then have me dinner and got a pile of ironing to do ready for Em going back to school next week.
So here's me cards (still doing the make two at one go!):
Card one:
Cards two:
Like the second one best, but quite pleased with them both.
Teddy Bo & Co image: Teddy Bea - Balloon Bea, coloured with my Prisma pencils.
The sentiment I've had for ages, no idea where it came from.
Pearls from Hobby House.
Made my own square blank and bits of coloured paper from my drawers.
Thats it!
Hope you all have a great weekend.
Sarah

Trying something new
Hi everyone
Sorry for the absence, which can be put down 100% to the half-term holiday and therefore lack of time to craft. We've had a busy time so far - and it doesn't look likely to change.
Yesterday I think I had a personality change as I decided to clean! We had the chimney sweep over to clear the pots ready for winter and while he was here I decided to clean the oven, change the filter in the extractor fan and then wash the blinds in Emily's room.
Today we went out for a ride on a bus - now I know this probably isn't a treat for a lot of you, but for us it's a very rare happening. We drive everywhere, it's just easier with where we live and more reliable! Today though we took a trip out to Spilsby and spent a couple of hours there, had a drink and little snack in a cafe then got the bus home again. Emily loved it!
Enough waffle, onto card. I'm not sure about the colouring on this one - I've taken a leaf out of Vicky's book and have base coloured with my Promarkers then added shading with my Prisma pencils. It's nowhere near as good as Vicky's colouring, but I quite enjoyed working this way so you may well see it again!
So here's me card.
Front shot:
Detail of image:
It looks a little wishy, washy here - in real life the colour is deeper.
Anyway, enough of my waffle. I'm off now to try and catch up with you all.
Hope you are having a good week, whatever you are up to.
Sarah
A challenge, or two:
The Cutie Pie Challenge - Challenge #3, A Recipe. Ladies - I hope my card is lilac enough for you - I hope it hasn't gone too far into purple!

Tres boy-ey
Hello blogworld
I'm back again - such a regular poster, eh! Won't be the same next week with it being half-term, altho I do have three cards to make before the end of the week - 2 children's cards and an adults. You will see me, just not every day.
This card was the one I was rushing to finish for the birthday party we were invited to today. It was at a local soft play area, and Emily loved it!! It's strange how times change isn't it, when we first went to soft play I couldn't leave her, now she won't have me any where near her.
Oooh, and me talking about her sleeping habits has jinxed it well and truly - she was up at 6am yesterday and 4.30 this morning! So I'm a walking zombie at the moment, a zombie rather stuffed with pizza, chips, potato wedges, fizzy drink and chocolate cake!! Well what do you expect when you go to a kids party that is over lunch and the place has a restaurant? I rolled out of there quite happy ;-)
Anyway, waffle over - here's me card:
Front shot:
Detail shot of image:
By the way, I'm using photo editing as recommended by Vicky and Rebekah - it's all new to me and am playing around with it - so please excuse if the pictures don't look perfect. I will be practising a lot with it I'm sure.
And, while I'm at it, do you mind if I ask something? This is for those of you who use Promarkers - do you find your colour better with some colours than others? I ask as I'm practising my colouring lots (really trying to improve it) and am finding that I'm doing well with some colours (blues, greens, browns, even greys) but other colours are dreadful and just look so unblended (is that a word?) can I put that down to me not having all the shades yet - or is there a trick I'm missing?
Card details:
Image is from Pollycrafts - Enchant and Explore set; Wizard, coloured with my Promarkers and a touch of (hold your breath, wait for it!) Stickles!! and 3d gloss on the ball.
Die-cut with a nestie, chalked while in the die for definition.
The papers are a mixture of Papermania, DCWV and First Edition (Up, Up and Away - did I say these were my new love?!).
This time I mounted them on mirri card, haven't done that for years - it was done on the advice of darling daughter, she insisted her friend would love the sparkle!!!
Sentiment from Lili of the Valley, die cut with a nestie and I made the card blank.
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend and 'see' you soon!

Sweet Stampin' DT card
Hello again bloggers!
Can you believe me posting this regularly - my goodness, how good am I! Well except that this is a scheduled post, can't see me at the computer at 8am on a non-school day! Though I could be here at 5am sometimes when Emily is on one of her waking early kicks! How I ever came to have a child who wakes early I'll never know - I've always been one for lots of sleep and sleeping in. Hey-ho enough of me and my waffle, here's what you visit me for (unless any of you do actually visit me for the waffle - in that case, are you sure you're feeling well!!! ;0 )
So here I am with my second card as a member of the DT for the Sweet Stampin' challenge - still so surprised but happy that I got asked to be on the DT, hope you're not having second thoughts yet ladies!!
The theme this week is Halloween, and is sponsored by
So lets be seeing all those Halloween stamped projects!
Do you know this is only the second Halloween card I've ever made - I really do not do Halloween at all. So it was a great pleasure to be given a digi from our sponsor to work with - otherwise you would've seen the same stamp as I used before!
Without further ado - me lil' card:
Hmmm, not my best effort ever but I quite like the colouring on the little zombie's hair and if you look closely you'll see that I glittered the eyes and mouth on the pumpkin, in the hope that it looks like a candle sparkling.
Anyway card details are:
Image Bugaboo digital stamp - Halloween Skelekinz -pumpkin 2, coloured with my Promarkers.
The papers are from Prima Moulin Rouge paper stack (told you I had nothing Halloweeny!)
The spiders web was cut from another paper and glittered.
The little spiders are Candi, from Craftwork Cards, then the thread and legs drawn on and glitter for eyes.
The fence was another freebie from Tracy at Dies to Die for.
The sentiment Googled.
Card blank is from Craftwork Cards.
So I hope this, and the wonderful work my other teamies have done, gives you inspiration for your creations - which I'm so looking forward to seeing. I think it's the best part about being on a Design Team, that you get to go see all the creative talent that's out there in blogland.
So get creating, and you never know you might find me waffling on your blog!
Have a good weekend,
Sarah

Tres girly!
Hi bloggers
You may have noticed, if you visit regularly, that I've been playing around with blog backgrounds. I'm very fickle about what background I use, but I am on the lookout for one that I really like - so I've been trying a few out.
This one isn't too bad, but I'm not completely struck on it - so it may well change again. Hopefully not in the next 24 hours though!
So while I was here I'd thought I'd share another card. Like I said when I have time I'm cramming making them. At the moment I've got one on the go for a little boys' birthday whose party we are going to on Sunday (cutting it a bit fine I know!) so when that is finished I will be back to share - might not be till end of the weekend or start of next. We should be going out to see Katy Ashworth from Cbeebies at Skeg on Saturday and the birthday party on Sunday. Also next week is half-term here (already started today with an extra day off for teacher training) so will have limited 'puter time.
Hope everyone has a good weekend and here is my card:
Details:
Saturated Canary digi image: Tressa, coloured with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers.
Die-cut with a nestie and chalked while in the die for definition.
Papers are all from Prima Sparkling Spring paper pad.
Butterfly I got at the Lincoln Papercrafts show.
Border is die cut with CC Designs, Teardrop die.
Craftwork Cards card blank and sentiment.
Sarah
P.S. Thanks for all the advice on taking pictures, I've digested it all and thinking about what I will be doing - but think I will be investing in a light cube.
A challenge, or two:
Flutter by Wednesday's - #176
I love Promarkers - #88 Ain't it cute!
Pollycraft Monday Challenge - #115 - Girls, girls, girls!

Divas by Design - Challenge 13; Something Spooky
Hello bloggers
Can you believe it, another two weeks have flown by and here we are again with another Divas by Design challenge. We have two sponsors for this challenge both
This time its something spooky - do you know what just popped into my head? The Addams Family!
Now that I've inflicted that on you - and you'll have to let me know if you get rid of the tune today! - here is my Halloween card:
The image is a CC Designs one - Love Lolita; pumpkin. Coloured with my Prisma pencils.
The paper is a freebie download and I will find out where from - arrggh I really could do with keeping info like that!
The purple punched strip was a freebie from the wonderful Tracy at Dies to Die For.
The little poem I just Googled and die cut with a Shapeability, then chalked for definition.
Ribbon from my boxes
Craftwork Cards card blank.
I'm afraid I just don't do Halloween cards, so I'm really not that impressed with it! I like the image and the papers but it's got no pizazz!
Heigh ho, you win some - you lose some! I'm sure you very talented people out there will be able to do much better than me! My teamies certainly have - please pop over to the blog and check out their inspirations.
Again, I am so looking forward to looking at all your entries,
Bye for now
Sarah

Arrrggghhh!
Hello bloggers!
Well here I am, eventually!, with another card. I don't know I just can't seem to get a regular dose of my hobby at all at the moment. When I get a few hours free I'm cramming in making cards, as I know that free time seems to be very small just now.
So we've had one set of guests come and go, more cleaning to be done ready for the next set on Friday - my daughter has had a cold over the weekend and was 'high maintenance' as hubby calls it! I've hoovered top to bottom on my house, made more apple jelly and am looking at how to make apple danish pastries! Phew, makes me sound really busy doesn't it - but where is the card making in that! I'm getting really twitchy as all I'm getting at the mo is an hour or so, really need a good 3 / 4 hrs to make me happy!
So I won't waffle on too much as I want to enter this card into a couple of challenges and I'm sure one finishes today. I've missed so many the last couple of weeks - what happened to Emily starting school and me having more time?! It's so not happening!!
Shut up me and show card:
Faye this one is for you - sorry I'm so late showing my purchase (one of many), what can I say - I'm just a busy domestic goddess (and if you believe that you'll believe anything ;-) )
Front shot:
Detail of image:
Used:
Saturated Canary Digi image - Neveah, coloured with Promarkers (no stickles - shock, horror!), die-cut with a nestie and chalked for definition.
Papers are all First Edition - mostly New Leaf, some Hideaway (these are my absolute new loves - even more than Basic Grey pads!)
Gems from my drawers.
Hope everyone else is well,
Sarah
P.S. - Does anyone have any good tips on taking pics - my camera isn't too bad, it's a Panasonic DSL with lots of idiot proofing - but how do I actually get a good set up in the first place? I've seen, somewhere, a cardboard box chopped up and tissue paper put in place of the sides (is this a sort of light box?) does anyone know if that helps? I'm stuffed at the mo - the light has changed in the conservatory (where I normally take my pics) and the rest of our house is dull! Helppppp?!
I'd like to enter these challenges:
I love Promarkers - Challenge #87 - Autumnal Colours
Stampin' for the Weekend - Challenge 18 - Colours of Autumn
Saturated Canary Challenge - Challenge #2 - Stiches (mine are fake - sewing machine still awaiting major surgery!)
Make it Monday - #59 - Linky party
Oops nearly forgot! Also: Sketch Saturday - week #155

Simple!
Hi bloggers
Sorry it's been a few days again since I posted last - again it's that old problem called life! Sometimes it just doesn't leave enough time in the day for the things I like to do - I have to put up with just getting the things done I need to get done!
So why has life been busy - well we have a couple of weeks of guests staying in the holiday cottage - which means I have to clean it. I don't know how I ended up with the job of cleaning - I really, truly find it one of the most mind numbing things going! Kudos to those of you who enjoy cleaning, I don't!
We went to Emily's school Harvest Festival - awww so sweet! All of 'em jumping up and down for the songs and joining in with the actions - brought a tear to my eye! Then there was a 2.15 club - an overview for the parents of what they learn at Nursery and Reception. It was a bit of a whizz through Early Years Foundation Stage, but very interesting when you have no idea what they do at Nursery or School. We go back in awhile for another talk.
So enough of my life - onto cards. This a very simple card, for a challenge that Rebekah is a Design Team member for. It's been ages since I did this simple a card, used to do them all the time for Less is More, so I thought (as I had a spare 20mins) I'd give it a whirl.
So card:
Apologies if it doesn't come out very well on your screens, I'm having a bit of a problem photographing cards at the mo. The conservatory is too bright and the kitchen or dining room too dark. Could really do with finding somewhere that I can take a pic anytime. Heigh ho, it will have to do.
Card details:
DL size card
Ladybird Crafts Ink stamp - Niki & Friends 'Winestool Niki'
Coloured with my Prismas
Sentiment is from a Fiskars set
Don't know if you can make out that I put some Stickles on the wine glass.
Done!!
Hoping to get round all your blogs tonight, hope you are all having a good weekend.

Creative Inspirations - Challenge 133 - Single Layer Card

Variations on a theme
Hi bloggers
Here I am again with another card. So why this title? Well it's the same stamp as yesterday but in different colours. I've got quite a few stamps you see and some of them I've had for ages but they have never seen the light of day or ink! So I decided that every time I stamp an image I would stamp it twice and make another card with the same image. I'm also going to pull out my older stamps and use them before buying new ones.
I wouldn't say I'm on a stamp ban, but I'm trying to cut back the amount I buy! Instead I'm moving onto equipment - nesties, Go-Kreate Dies, Die-namics - that sort of thing (oh and some paper pads!).
Can I also just say hello to my new followers - I can't believe I've got over 80 of you now. Are you sure you are all feeling OK, wanting to follow my ramblings on my blog!!! Seriously, thanks for following me and I hope you enjoy what you see.
So here is the card:
Font shot:
Detail of image:
I used:
CC Designs - Sweet November Stamps; April. Coloured with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers.
Image die-cut and matted using nesties. Touch of Stickles glitter glue on the flower on her headband.
The papers are Basic Grey - Sultry pad.
Ribbon and charm from my stuff.
Lili of the Valley sentiment, also die-cut with nesties.
Craftwork Cards card blank.
I'm entering this into:
Sketch N Stash - Challenge 72, stash is either the stamp or the paper pad (which I've had for a good year, and this is the first time I've used it!)
Make it Monday - Anything goes linky party

And another one!
I'm never quite sure about putting cards for more than one challenge in one post, so here is another post with another card for another challenge! This time it's the Sugar Bowl.
I also wanted to say thank you, ladies, for the amazing quickness that my prize arrived after I won the other week. It was here within a few days, and will be inking them up very soon.
But this time I will spare you the waffle, after all what's happened in the last 5 mins? Not a lot!!
But I do have to waffle, it's me! Do you ever colour an image, love it but then add it to a card and not be entirely sure about the end effect? Well that's this one, I love the image (did I mention I love my Flexmarkers?) and I'm quite happy with the colouring this time, but when I put the whole together I wasn't sure.
So card:

Card details:
Image is a Sugar Nellie from Funky Kits - Leanne Ellis; Wild Rose (an all time favourite of mine). Coloured with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers (have I said I love my Flexmarkers, no? I love my Flexmarkers!).
The papers are Basic Grey - Sultry.
The piece of twilly ribbony stuff was in my box and I've no idea where it came from!
Touch of stickles on the rose.
Craftwork Cards card blank - I've seen these loads on Vicky's blog and finally gave in and got some. They are a wonderful shape, aren't they.
This is the last card tonight, I do have another one but I don't think I'll have time to blog again tonight. So see yas tomorrow!

Challenge is: The Sugar Bowl - Challenge 69; Gail's sketch and optional photo inspiration. I've taken the green of the kitchen (which by the way is wonderful!) as inspiration.

So did you miss me?
Helllooo blogworld
So did ya?!! Apologies for a little absence, no particular reason just had a couple of busy days and this evening is the first chance I've had to sit at the old compy puter and tippity tap!
So did you all have a good weekend then? I did! I don't know if you remember, why should you!, I went to the Sincerely Yours Papercraft show at Lincoln on Sunday. It's nowhere near as big as Harrogate (my nearest (2hr! drive) other craft show ) and I'm sure compared to Ally Pally or one of the really big shows it's tiddly, but I enjoyed myself and managed to spend cough, cough pounds! Want to see pics:
Hubby and daughter went off to play trains while I spent money and enjoyed myself then when I'd done we all went for a walk in the little forest that is next to the showground, so a good day was had by all.
So enough waffle. I've been busy yesterday and today making cards. I get so annoyed that I keep missing challenges that I made time to make some cards, I'm even considering (say this quietly) making a list! Oooh, I'm just becoming so organised!
Onto card, this was made with the Cutie Pie Challenge blog in mind - hopefully this is cute enough! This time it's bingo and I picked the top line - Glitter, Sentiment and Charm.
So whaddya think?
I will point it out before you notice the smudge on the image, I touched the glitter on the flower in her hairband and it went and smeared on the image. I've done my best to clean it up, but it's there and I'm just hoping it's not too bad!
So details:
Image is a Sweet November Stamps - from C C Designs - called April. Coloured with my Flexmarkers and Promarkers(I love my Flexmarkers, they blend beautifully). Touch of Stickles glitter glue on the flower.
Image and mat diecut with nesties.
The sentiment is a Lili of the Valley one, again cut with nesties.
The papers are all First Edition, Bird Song - the pink paper has glitter on it too.
Fluff and charm are from my stuff.
Craftwork cards card blank
Hope you like, Should be back in a mo with another card.

First card as DT for Sweet Stampin'
Hello blogworld!
Well the title says it all really - I'm really happy to show my first card as a member of the Design Team on the Sweet Stampin' Challenge blog! Thank you ladies for picking me to be a member of the Team. The challenge is 'In stiches' and is sponsored by Bunny Zoe's Crafts - so any sort of stitching on your cards is the order of the day.
So how much of the saga should I give you about this card? I think I will spare you and only give you the edited highlights. I got a mini sewing machine for my birthday in July, gave it a test run at the time and it worked. Not earlier this week it didn't! The needle moves up and down and makes a lovely line of little holes, but the thread just doesn't catch and nothing happens! So I fiddled and tinkered with the thing, hubby got involved and did the same - one slightly tense conversation later neither of us can make it work! It is now sitting on the kitchen side awaiting major surgery.
So, apologies in advance, this is my In Stitches card:
Front shot:
Detail shot of image:
So here's hoping you like it, and please nip over to the Challenge blog, have a look at my Teamies wonderful creations and try your hand at the Challenge - you've got to be in it to win it!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend - I'm going to as I'm off to the Sincerely Yours in Lincoln on Sunday. I can feel a big spend coming up and no-one is going to stop me!
Also wanted to say thank you to everyone who has sent me get well wishes, I'm fully recovered now thank goodness - I hate stomach bugs!! Only thing is I'm well behind on the old housework routine - so tough decision to make, cards or housework first order of the day next week.
Cheerio

The image is a Sweet November Stamps by Amy Young (from CC Designs) - Lillianne, coloured with my Prisma pencils. Then highlighted around the edges with Copics.
The sentiment stamp is from Fiskars.
The patterned paper is Daisy Bucket: Sweet Marabella, carmella.
The swirl is Cheery Lyn Designs - Fanciful Flourish, the strip across the page was a freebie from the wonderful Tracy at Dies to Die For and I'm not sure whose it is. Tracy, by the way is either lovely for sending freebies with any order, or naughty for tempting me with said freebies!! Depends on whether you are talking to me or he who must be obeyed!
Flower from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Craftwork Cards card blank (and it's a big 'un! I thought if my friend is going to ask for big cards then I'd get a few square ones in stock - at least this way I'm little less intimidated than trying to make an A4 card).

No cards!
Hi everyone
Just a quick note to say I am still in the land of the living, but no cards made at the mo. Made the ones I need to but nothing else - where I was not so well at the beginning of the week I've had to play catch up with the nasty little housework duties!
I'm sure I could survive in a messy, dusty, mucky house - but hubby and child complain occasionally so out comes the pinny and duster and off I go doing my best impression of a housewife! Pah, and double pah!
Also wanted to say a thank you to Georgina - I won her wonderful candy recently and it arrived this week. Wow what a lovely surprise that was - Georgina, thank you ever so much.
Anyway back to cards very soon with my first Design Team card for Sweet Stampin' Challenge - can't wait!

Divas by Design - Challenge 12: Button up
Hello blogworld,
Another two weeks have flown by and it's time for another challenge over at Divas by Design and this time the theme is 'buttons'. Really this is Team B's challenge, but I've snuck on again - I just can't help myself! So it's time to put your thinking caps on and think buttons.
I know I've said this before, but I'm constantly amazed at the talent there is out there in blogland and I really enjoy looking at all the entries for our challenges.
I've just realised I completely forgot to tell you who the sponsor is this time - just shows I'm still a bit under the weather - how scatterbrained is that!!
The sponsor is Crafty Emma's Store, be sure to pop over and see all the lovely goodies she has waiting for you!
So, what did I do for buttons? Well I had been asked for a card for the birthday of friends brother-in-law, the brief was wine, beer or cars and this is what I came up with - plus buttons!!
Apologies for the poor picture - I took the picture in the conservatory on one the recent hot days and couldn't get rid of the glare. Hope it doesn't spoil the picture too much.
Main shot:
Detail shot of image:
The card is A4 size (my friend likes big cards!), I am so grateful for digi's the ability to re-size is a live-saver.
The image a was freebie over on Pollycraft many moons ago - and has proved invaluable for those difficult masculine cards.
He is coloured in with my Promakers and die-cut with my Go-Kreate die - the eyes and the froth on the beer have 3d gloss over them, don't know if you can make that out. I also highlighted the image while it was still in the die with some chalk for definition.
The papers are all Papermania - Hampstead collection.
Paper twine and buttons from my boxes.
Sentiment was computer generated.
Looking forward to seeing all the fab entries this time and why not take a look see at what the other talented ladies on the DT have created - they are all fab as well.

What a day
Hello blogfriends
Firstly I want to say thank you to everyone who sent get well wishes, it is really appreciated. I'm on the mend - not 100% but nearly there.
I really wanted to join in with the first challenge over at the new Saturated Canary challenge blog - so I sat and tried to create today. Well it just wasn't working, I don't like the way the skirt is coloured makes it look like culottes! Although I don't think I done too bad with the top. I also tried using my new sewing machine that I got for my birthday and the bloody thing won't work!! It worked when I tried sewing on the sample piece of material that was in with the machine - tried on the card and it wouldn't blooming well work - I've spent all afternoon, on and off, fiddling with it. Me and hubby even argued over what was wrong with it!
So I then decided to punch a paper border to cover where the stitching went wrong - don't like it! Don't like how the ribbon doesn't go round the edge either.
I give up - sometimes the old carding just doesn't go as planned. So here is a card to share, but I don't think much of it. Pah!!
Main shot:
Arty detail shot:
Thanks for listening to me whinge - promise I'll be cheerfuller tomorrow, when I'm hoping I'll be back to normal.
Details on card:
Simply Sassy - Windswept, coloured with my Promarkers and die-cut with my Go-Kreate die.
Chalked the background for definition.
Papers are MakingMemories - Boho Chic.
Craftwork cards card blank
Fiskars border punch
Ribbon and buttons from my boxes.
Hope you like more than I do and hopefully will be blog-hopping at some point tomorrow to catch up with you all. Won't be daytime though as we've got our first consultation with Emily's Teacher - wish us luck!!

Challenge:
Saturated Canary - Challenge 1 - sketch (sorry ladies I didn't follow the optional theme, I don't have any Halloween stuff at all!).
Anything Goes Challenge Blog - Challenge 51: Die-cuts / punches or both (die-cut image and punched border).
Papertake Weekly - Anything goes + something punched

Message from illness towers!
Hi there blogworld
Well I had meant to be posting a card this morning - but that's come to nothing as I now have the stomach bug that my daughter was sent home from school with last week! Thankfully she is all better and has gone off to school quite happily, but hubby had to do the school run - I'm not leaving the house today!
I had been planning to do my card for the Saturated Canary challenge, Krista's images are one of my favourites - but I can't concentrate at the mo, so that might not happen today. Argghh I hate being ill, I'm a very impatient patient.
On a brighter note I got a Top 3 at The Cutie Pie challenge - thank you ladies, I am very pleased that you liked my card!
So if I don't post that card today - you know why, I'm laying on the sofa watching my DVD's of Dr Who and feeling sorry for myself!
