I went, I saw,

I spent and then I spent some more and more!

Hellooo blogworld

Me again, here I am being a bus (nothing for ages then twice in a day) or something like that anyway!

So I promised some pictures of my new stuff - somehow it didn't look as much when I laid it out on the dining room table as when I was carrying it around at the craft fayre!!

Dies, dies and more dies oh and some paper, embellies, doilies and a stamp (bargain that was!).

DST, Artbin storage (already had the nesties), ribbon, lace and mettalic mesh - ooooh you should've seen the examples of bows and flowers - gorgeous!  Now if only I can do the same!!!!

My postal spend - shed loads of flowers and a new bottle of Crafters Pick.  Had the other bottle for roughly two years?  Thought it might run out soon!!!

The only things I didn't take pics of was my new glass cutting mat, beads and plain white heavy paper for the inserts that I'm going to start putting in my cards.

Ummm, think that's it.  I could've spent more but I'm now hanging on until my birthday and will self-present some craft stuff then.

Oh and the craft fayre saga - well the first stall I stopped at I spent a fair amount and went to put it on my Visa - only to be told that my pin had been blocked, so the lady did the transaction as cardholder not present.  None of the stalls took AmEx so I had to revert to cash - blooming good job I'd taken a wad of cash otherwise I'd been stuffed.

I did try to phone hubby (he'd taken Emily away and out so that I could shop in peace) but he has a  rubbish phone and I couldn't get through to him (note to self - fathers' day present new phone and not a fiver one from Tesco this time) to see if I could Switch stuff.  All OK in the end as I didn't spend as much as I thought so that one credit card and a large chunk of cash later I was done.

Of course, then I had to try and find said hubby and child.  Ended up swearing at the damn phone and wandering around in the blistering heat trying to find the car.  Eventually found the car, but not the family.  Still I got 20mins to sit and look through all my purchases!

Off to bed now, and dream of all the cards I'm going to make with all my new stuff - ahhhh, bliss!!!!!!

So sad

Hi blogworld

So how's we all doing then?  I'm a very happy bunny as I had a lovely day out on Sunday, well mostly anyway!, at the craft fair and have brought myself lots of new goodies.  The spending carried on until Monday morning as some companies were missing and I still had things on my to get list.  You will start to see the new things trickling through soon - there's even some on this card!!

I've had the post part of my spend arrive this morning so I'll take photos and do a sharing post later today and explain what it was that annoyed me on Sunday!!  Be prepared for one of Sarah's sagas ;-)

The so sad part is that Pollycraft is closing down, I will really miss Paula's digis - they are absolutely brilliant I've already done one mega bundle deal and I'm very verrrry tempted to go back and do another - but I wouldn't even mind missing out on the mega deals if she wasn't closing!   Then I went and missed the last challenge, I'd thought there'd be one to the last days of the shop but last weeks' was it and I missed it - pah!

I had my image all ready to go, but just ran out of time.  I then saw Paula doing a Linky Party over at Pollycrafts blog so I thought I'd link up with that.

Here's me card:

Side view to get the depth:

I used:

Image:
Pollycraft - Swings and Slides: Lollipop: (which was my prize for being a Pollycraft Favourite - I was sooooo chuffed when I was picked and I was picked twice!)  It's coloured with my Promarkers and chalked for the background.

Papers:
First Edition:
Love Letters (new!)
Song Bird

Dies:
Nesties for the image and circles
C.C. Designs - Teardrop Border

Everything else:
Buttons from stash
Stickles glitter glue

I've been frantically making cards first half of this week as the second half is busy.  Then next week it's half-term here and that will be chaos, plus we've got people in the holiday let.  Oh, wot a busy life I leads!!!!

Cheerio

Sarah

A challenge, or two:

Sketch Saturday: Week #209

Oldie but a Goodie challenge: Anything Goes - everything except for one piece of patterned paper and the image are more than six months old.

I love Promarkers: Challenge #119 - Use a Digi

Sunday 27 May 2012

Probably the only New Year resolution I'm making

This is a sticky and will stay at the top until 27 May 2012

So this is a la Lisa at wishcraftcards (and probably a lot more bloggers / crafters, but Lisa is the only one I've seen do this!).

I just spent nearly £80 on stamps and I feel rather guilty!

So I am going on a stash diet (not a total ban as I couldn't do that) I'm going to wait for one more shop to re-open and then I'm not buying anything (except for a few digis and the absolute craft essentials - glue and card) until the next Lincoln Sincerely Yours papercaft show - which is the end of May.  Then nothing again until the next show - so I'm only buying craft things twice this year.

Oh My God - I really hope I can do this.  I have so much stuff it shouldn't matter, but you never know I might break down at some point. Stopping now before I change my mind and not post it.

So having seen that Abi and Susan are doing similar - I thought I'd make it official, join in at Fran's blog and hopefully get support if I waiver.  I mean to do this - it's just a daunting thought to begin with.

Sarah

A new challenge

Hi blogworld,

Hopefully blogger will have uploaded this scheduled post, as I should be off having a lovely time at the craft fair and being very happy buying lots of crafty things after my stash diet.

The post today is all about the new challenge at Dream Valley Design and this time we would like to see humour on your cards.  Why not pop over to the blog and see what my talented Teamies have created and I'd love to see what you come up with.

We are sponsored this fortnight by:

and:

Bugaboo very kindly allowed the DT to pick some images and this is what I came up with.  It's not very embellished but I didn't think it looked like the sort of image you should cover with flowers, lace and frilly things!!

I used:

Image:
Bugaboo - Scarlette present : coloured with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers

Papers:

Everything else:
Sentiment - Craftwork cards
Pearls from my stuff

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday and see you again soon,
Cheerio,
Sarah

Friday 25 May 2012

Oh, sugar (and not in a nice way!)

'morning blogworld,

Before I forget again - I wanted to say hello to my new followers.  What a way to start following someone, eh - with them moaning their heads off!!!!  Hope you don't pack up and leave - bear with me, I don't moan that much I think anyway ;-)

I would say good morning but I fear it is not a 'good' morning - to begin with I needed a card for tomorrow.  It's now done but it's been a terrible faff to get there and I don't like it!  I know I say that quite a lot with my cards, but this one I mean it.  I will be glad when it's gone!

I decided to try bright colours again, but I don't think they work with the image I picked, I don't know that you can see the sketch I tried to follow and, to top it all off, I went and dropped an ink pad on the the card (hence the cover up part that doesn't follow the sketch).

So apart from the good weather - I'm a moaning minney today.

Oh and Miss Miss Tinker - well s/he is a mouser!  So far, after being let out for a decent time on her own yesterday and today she's rewarded us with 4 mice - two expired, two alive!!

Here's hoping this has not set the tone for the weekend, as it's my great spend up on Sunday!!  I can't say that I've rigidly stuck to my budget - I haven't! - but I've been better.  Checking the money programme that hubby has on his 'puter, I have roughly spent half the amount of money on craft stuff at this point in the year that I had last year.  Hmmm, does that make sense to anyone?  Basically I've spent less this year than I had this time last year.  So not bad - let's hope I can carry on like this the whole year.

So onto my card - urgh, I'm not one of those who only shows their successes that you can say for sure with this one!!!

Front shot: I tried colouring my backing paper with the same Promarkers that I used and it's gone blotchy.  I don't think the little boy whose card it is will care - hope his parents think it's intentional!!

Detail of image:

I used:

Stamp:
Lili of the Valley - By the River : coloured with my Promarkers

Dies / punches
Nestie circle
Martha Stewart border punch

Papers:
echo park - Splash

Everything else:
twine, button, die-cut sentiments - from my stuff

There I'm glad that's over with, I'll still link up with the sketch but I think I will quickly forget about this card!!

Hope you are all enjoying the good weather and see's ya later,
Sarah

A challenge, or two:

Sketch n Stash: Challenge 88 - Jen's sketch.  I do hope you can still see the original sketch, if you want you can read the waffle above about why it isn't exact!!

and for fun:

Lisa's - Waste not Wednesdays, back to stamps this time Lisa.  Can't remember when I brought this one, but I know I've not used it as I had to cut the excess rubber off.

Wednesday 23 May 2012

It's Wednesday!

Hi blogworld,

The world seems a little better at keeping itself on track this week - at least I know today (well tomorrow really as I'm typing this on Tuesday scheduled for Wednesday - are you confused, I am!) is Wednesday and it's time for a new challenge over at Divas by Design.

The theme for this challenge is 'Fabulous Flourishes' so we would like to see your flourishes or swirls on your creations this week please.

This week's sponsor is The Paper Shelter with a fab prize on offer - why not pop over the blog, have a look at my Teamies wonderfully inspiring cards and then join us in the fun!

The Design Team were given a choice of digis to play with and this is what I created with my choice. Lots of photo's here, peeps, as it's an easel card and I think we all know what a terror they are to take a picture of!

Here we go:

Front shot:

Papers:

Everything else:
Large pink flower - Wild Orchid Crafts
Card Candy and sentiments - Craftwork cards
smaller flowers and lace from my stuff
Stickles glitter glue

So that's it from me today - hope you to see you over at the Divas.

Sarah

A challenge, or two:

I love Promarkers: Challenge #118 - Use die-cuts.  That would be the Memory Box flourishes.

The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog: Easel card with sketch

Passion for Promarkers: Week 150 - Birthdays.  Happy birthday to you ladies, it's a fab challenge and where I got a lot of inspiration from when I first started using Promarkers!

The Paper Shelter: Challenge #65 - Bling it on.  I'm not sure if I'm being cheeky entering this one!  There are stickles on her helmet and the paper is very sparkly in real life, but I don't know if that is enough 'bling' for you!  If it's not I've no problems with my entry being taken out.

Monday 21 May 2012

Introducing....

Tinker - or to give him / her full name (as decided by Emily) Miss Miss Tinker.

It looks like s/he is staying then.  The animal sanctuary didn't ring us back (don't suppose they would when they've already got 80 cats to re-home), nobody has put any signs up for a lost cat (and we've been back to check), the vets didn't get back to us - and it sleeps on Emily's bed, I think we are outnumbered!

It's been outside, hence the collar, bell and name tag, and came back without encouragement - a good sign.  The only downsides are that it still wakes up dead early and it does seem to like to chase a bird or two, also it made a bee-line for the road - it is being encouraged not to do that again!

Now if I can just stop it from jumping on the kitchen worktops and dining room table!!!

I've also caught up on personal commenting - just the DT ones to go now.

Saturday 19 May 2012

It's Saturday, already!

Good morning blogworld,

So I'd like to know where the last week has gone to!  Thinking that Tuesday was Thursday seems to have set the whole tone of the week for me, and the week seems to have just disappeared into thin air!

Anyway one good thing about it being Saturday is that there is a new challenge over at Sweet Stampin' and this week we'd like to see your Fairies / Angels and a popular theme I would imagine that's going to be!  My Teamies certainly created some gorgeous cards.

Our weekly sponsor this week is:

And our regular monthly sponsor is the wonderful place that is Joanna Sheen with a £10 voucher.

The DT were very kindly given a digi to play with and this is what I came up with (lots of pictures!):

Front shot:

Close up of image:

I then got all arty!

and finally just in case you didn't realise I'd glittered the wings!!

I used:

Digi:
The Emerald Fairies - Isabella, coloured with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers

Dies:
Nestie circles and scalloped circle
Die-namics - open scallop
Le'abilites - Frame Square Curve

Papers:
First Edition - Bird Song

Others:
Flowers, button and brads from my stuff
Stickles glitter glue on the wings

Looking forward to seeing all those lovely Fairies / Angels - don't forget you need to stamp somewhere on your card.

Hope you all have a good weekend - we're off to another birthday party tomorrow.  A soft play area again!

Cheerio
Sarah

A challenge, or two:

A Passion for Promarkers: Week 149 - Inspiration Photo (I used the pink / green / blue colours for inspiration)

Cute Card Thursday: Challenge 217 - A touch of Sparkle

Crafting for all Seasons: It's a celebration with buttons

Thursday 17 May 2012

Hmmm, not quite sure!

Hi blogworld,

Hope everyone is well?

So what shall I waffle on about today then? How about an update on the cat situation? Well it's still here and settling in even more! The arguments between it and the other two are slightly lessening but they are still not 100% happy in each others' company.  Emily however loves it!

Hubby took it to the vets and all they could say was that it doesn't have a chip - they think it's between 2 - 6 years old (put it much younger myself!), can't tell if it's a boy or girl as it has no 'bits'! They said it's very difficult to tell if it's been done or is a girl and they do have a missing black cat on their books but in a different town to where we found it - not much help there then!!

So it now has a name, but I don't think it's a name that's staying - Emily wants to call it Ryan!! We're sticking with 'puss' for now! It has a collar, is sleeping on Emily's bed, getting up before 6 every morning and eating about 4 meals a day. I do hope something happens soon to say whether it will stay or not, it's getting harder to get Emily to say it might be someone elses!!

There we go - I'm all waffled out and I would imagine you are all fed up of my waffle as well!

So onto card - it's for my friends' mum and I'm not entirely sure I've got it right.  This is the friend who likes big cards, so it's larger than I'm used to working on and the image isn't one that comes naturally to me.  It's a beautiful image, but flowers aren't something that I would immediately go for.

But I'll show it anyway, and you can make up your own minds.

Front shot:

Detail of image:

My pins:

I used:

Image:
A Passion for Stamps - Two Roses, coloured with my Promarkers

Dies:
Nesties for the image
Memory Box - Maderia Corner
Shapeabilities - Fancy Tags two

Papers:
Daisy D's

Others:
Doily, ribbons, pins all from my stuff
Sentiment created on my PC
Craftwork Cards - card blank

Oh, and another bit of waffle before I go - Emily has her class assembly tomorrow afternoon.  They are doing a play based on 'The Hungry Catterpillar' book - they've all got lines and actions and all the parents / rellies are invited to come see them perform!  So guess where we are off to at 2.25pm tomorrow.  I'll let you know how it goes.

See you all soon,
Sarah

A challenge, or two:

Sketch n Stash: I hope it's OK that I turned the image square into a rectangle and the backing square into a doily?  The ribbon is the strip going across the sketch - can you see it?  On the whole, I do hope I've not altered it tooo much, sorry!!!  My stash are the papers and the image is new.

I love Promarkers: Challenge #117 - Anything Goes

Papertake Weekly: In the garden

Moving Along With The Times: Keep it Real

and for fun: Lisa's Waste not Wednesday - it's the papers Lisa!  The image is new, but the papers are from when I dabbled in scrapbooking after Emily was born - so they are getting on for 5 years old and it's the first time they've seen daylight. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!!

Tuesday 15 May 2012

I'm stuck!

Hello blogworld

As I look at the clock now, it's 13:17 on Tuesday afternoon and I'm stuck. I broke my C plate on my Cuttlebug yesterday - hubby has gone shopping and is going into a craft shop (shock breath there!) to buy a replacement but he's had to take the plate with him to make sure he's got the right one.  So I'm stuck!  I knew I used my lil' bug a lot, but I didn't realise quite how much a lot was!  I've got three cards to get done this week and now I'm awaiting on hubby to come back before I can get on with them.

So I thought I'd blog the card that broke the bug and say hello to you all!  I'm really behind with commenting right now, have to be honest and say I'm struggling to get back into routines (again!) so if I'm not visiting your blog please excuse me and I'm sure I'll be back soon!  That is unless my not visiting you is a good thing!!

I'm also slightly distracted by a new arrival at our house - a stray little cat!  We went out to the beach on Saturday and found this very hungry, very thin, very young cat wandering about begging for food.  Long story short - it's now residing at our home, while we try and find it's owners, or a rescue place to take it if it's been dumped, and it's not getting on very well with our elderly female!  The boy of the house is OK-ish with it, but oh my goodness the elderly lady is not!  Our Katie is such a placid cat that it was a real shock to see her growling, hissing and spitting at this little 'un - of course the little 'un gave as good as it got - and we are now trying to get them to all be calm until we find out what to do with the visitor.  Unfortunately Emily has really taken to the new cat and wants to keep it!  Oh dear, trouble ahead I think!

Anyhows, waffle, waffle, blah, blah, over - here's my card:

Front shot:

Detail of image:

I used:

Stamp:
Sugar Nellie: Daisy, coloured with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers
I also used a gel pen (hmm not liking the cheeks!)

Dies:
Nestie squares
Memory Box - Elegant Scrollwork

Papers:
First Edition - Bird Song

Others:
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards
String and flowers from my stash
(the little green resin flower was a freebie in with an order from Teresa at My Crafty Heart, it's very sweet and I can see me ordering some, soon!!)

So hoping that everyone is keeping well and I will try to be back soon with more cards and, of course, tales of the goings on in cat house.

Cheerio
Sarah

A challenge, or two:

The Sugar Bowl: Challenge 83 - Kiki's Sketch, with the option of your favourite Sugar Nellie stamp.  I thought long and hard about this one - but it has to be said for sheer cuteness - Daisy does it every time!  She might even be the first stamp I brought from Funky Kits, but it's been so long I'm not sure!!!

Totally Gorjuss: Challenge 131 - Pink and Green

Bunny Zoe's: Challenge 24 - Anything Goes

Sunday 13 May 2012

It's challenge time!

Hello blogworld

Well the last two weeks have rushed by and now it's time for a new challenge over at Dream Valley Challenges - isn't time just flying by!  Am finding it difficult to believe we are in May already and June is rushing up on us.

So what is the new challenge over at Dream Valley, I can hear you asking and my reply is: it is to CASE a member of the Design Teams' project.

So to make things very clear - for anyone out there like me (oh my goodness, poor world if there are two of me in it!!) to CASE something means to Copy And Selectively Edit. So you pick something from one of the Design Teams' projects that you like and use that on your creation.

What you pick can be anything that appeals to you - colours, shape, layout, image - whatever, but you must say in your entry what it is that you are CASEing.

This fortnight we are sponsored by One Stop Card Crafts who are offering a £10 voucher and Crafty Ribbons who are offering as the prize the new Bev bag selection.

Right then, explanations over - here's what I made:

Front shot of card:

Detail shot of stamp:

I used:

Stamps
Lili of the Valley - Astronaut: coloured with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers
Blonde Moments - Sweet Celebrations: sentiment

Dies
Nestie square
Die-namics for the greetings tab

Papers and embellishments
We Are Memory Keepers - White Out

Do you know it's just occurred to me that, apart from the stamp which is only about 6 mths old, everything on this card is at least two years old (if not older) I'm such a bad hoarder!!

So I hope you will pop over to the Dream Valley and look at all the wonderful projects that have been created - get inspired - then have a go!!

See you soon,
Sarah

A challenge, or two:

Totally Paper Crafts: 116 - No pesky girls allowed!

allsorts challenge: Week 254 - card for a man or boy

Lili's Little Fairies: Your Favourite craft tool - cuttlebug / dies, promarkers

and just for fun:

Lisa's - Waste not Wednesdays, still using up the old stuff! Though I have been a bit naughty and brought meself some new things at the beginning of the month!!

Saturday 12 May 2012

Well it's been a week

Hello blogworld,

since 'the' haircut and I'm sort of getting used to it.  The worse part is I've got a picture of it in my head where it really suits me and then I catch sight of myself in the mirror and think 'arrrgh where did that podgy, getting wrinkly face come from!"

I don't think I'm ever going to like being 40 (or 40+ as it will be from July) or getting a bit fat in the face (ahm not only the face!), but I suppose I'll get used to it.  I'm taking preventative measures to stop any more wrinkles - loads of 40/+ skincare products.  I'm also hoping that that only thing I inherit from my mother is her good skin!  People never believed that she was whatever age it was at the time - they always put her a good 10 years younger.

Anyhows, here we go, just what you really needed to see a picture of me!  It was taken by the youngest person in the house - I still can't get a reasonable self-portrait - so you'll have to excuse the slightly dodgy focus.  And the fact that she was below eye level - it's something to do with her height, I believe ;-)

Hope everyone is having a good weekend oh and joining in with this weeks Sweet Stampin challenge, it's a a good 'un - 'Flower Power' and there are some great prizes on offer.

See ya soon,

Sarah

Tuesday 8 May 2012

Brave or foolish?

Hello blogworld

So how are we all then?  You may have noticed the world according to Sarah has been quiet for a few days - don't have much time to blog when Emily is off from school, don't even really have time to craft!  Apart from when she helps, and what is produced then isn't generally for the blog.  This time, though the crafting has had a purpose as we have been busy making invites for her birthday party.

We are inviting 20 or so 4/5 yr olds to the house at the end of June (weekend after her birthday) and Emily has been helping me and making executive decisions on colours and placement on the invitations!   I'm beginning to wonder if I've done the right thing and maybe hiring a hall somewhere would be better!  We do have an entertainer coming so a lot of the stress is taken out, but if it rains - where will they go!!!

Anyhow, this isn't the reason for the post.  I was browsing and saw a very interesting post on Coops blog linking to Sandra's blog - and being extremely nosey it's just the sort of post I like!

Sandra is asking you to share some of the earliest cards you made and then some of your more recent ones.  Ooooh, I do like to share - anyone noticed that!!  So here we go:

Oldest:
Edited to add - this new blogger is a pain, ain't it!  The pictures all look very neat and in rows on preview, hit publish and they are squew-wiffy!!  I don't know, blogger, eh!!

I used stickers a lot way back when, wasn't very keen on my colouring!  Then one of my early attempts with Promarkers:

Back to stickers and my first attempts at stamping!

Back to stickers and colouring!

And now a couple of more recent cards:

I must admit I don't know if this has done me any good or not!  I can plainly see how much I've improved with the colouring, but has my basic card style changed??  Hmmm, I'm not sure.  I do dabble with flowers, flourishes and frilly things as you can see but I tend to go right back to square, paper, ribbon and image pretty quickly!!

I beginning to think that I should be a bit more adventurous every so often.  Anyway, I'm not stressing over it, I suppose that after nearly 10 years of making cards I would have my own 'style', wouldn't I. But I will make a note to self - try something new every now and again!!!

Hope everyone else had a good Bank Holiday and I'll be trying to catch up on my commenting this evening - after I've waded my way through the pile of ironing!!!

See's ya

Sarah

Saturday 5 May 2012

Do you have one?

Hello blogworld

A four legged friend that is?  We do, two of the purring, independent sort and currently one of them is laid on my arm seriously hampering my ability to type.

Anyho, I will plough on - I will just hope that he doesn't decide to bite (he does that you know) and you will just have to excuse any typo's!

So it's Saturday morning which means, in Sarah blogworld anyway, that it's time for a new challenge over at Sweet Stampin and as you might have guessed from the title this week we'd like to see your four legged friends.  So any type of animal anywhere on your entry (plus stamping of course!) is what we are looking for this challenge.

Our sponsor for this week is Whimsy Stamps, who are offering the winner five free digi stamps.

Our regular monthly sponsor is Joanna Sheen, where a £10 voucher is on offer.

Want to see my card?  Oooh and tag - I made a tag!  First time for everything, eh.  This is what I came up with:

Front shot of card:

Detail shot of image:

Tag:

Card and tag together: (and I've just noticed a deliberate mistake!)

I used:

Image:
Pollycraft - Marleys Party, coloured with my Promarkers

Dies:
Nestie square and circle
Go-kreate (for the tag)

Papers:
echo park - Splash

Others:
Mettalic thread and sentiment tag - from my stuff
Craftwork cards - card blank and sentiment

I hope you like my cheerful card (inspired by Arabella's wonderful colour choices for her cards) and it brings a bit of sunshine into these dreary days that we are currently enduring.

Please pop on over to the challenge blog and you'll see all the little creatures that my teamies have used on their creations - and they are lovely (my teamies and and their cards!), I promise!

See you soon,
Sarah

A challenge, or two:

Pollycraft Monday Challenges: Challenge #138 - matching card and tag

Emergency Crafters: Bold and bright

Cute Card Thursday: Challenge 215 - one for the boys (this is for a little boy in my daughters class at school)

Thursday 3 May 2012

Hmmm, how many bees are an invasion?

Hello blogworld

So which would you like the first the good news or the bad?  I normally go for the bad, then the good is gooder!

The bad news then - to which the above title pertains.  We are being invaded by masonry bees!  We've had them in the walls outside for years and for a month or so during spring I have to dodge the little blighters when coming into the house through the conservatory but this year they are chasing me in the house itself!  So would finding at least 6 bees every day (all over the house) constitute an invasion?  Peter doesn't think so, he thinks I'm over-reacting.  I think it is, not that I would get them exterminated or anything (I don't even step on ants - I mean you never know what you might come back as do you!) but I do object to having to a bee crawl out from under the microwave at me!  Even Emily was surprised to see one crawling around in the kitchen this morning.

Now the good - I'm getting another hair cut tomorrow.  My regular followers of my inane drivel will know the angst the last haircut caused - I'm prepared this time!  I've shown Peter the hairstyle (I googled hairstyles!) I picked and my hairdresser said it will suit me.  So wish me luck at 10.30 tomorrow when I will be having lots of hair cut off.

So and now I've waffled on for even longer than I do normally, anyone want to see a card?  It may seem familiar as I still had the papers and Promarkers out from when I made my Divas card and so this one is along the same style.  I'm not entirely pleased with it as I'm not sure I got the highlights in her hair right and I am rubbish at cutting out.  Also I've run out of my normal super sticky tape and am using wet glue.  I only noticed the splodges under the ribbons after I'd take the pics.

Well here it is anyway and I leave it up to you to see if you like or not:

Front shot:

Detail of image:

I used:

Image
Pink Petticoat digi stamp - can't remember her name! She's stored on the PC and I'm on my lappy (I will find it out and get back to you)
coloured with my Promarkers

Papers:
Die Cuts with a View - backing paper
Craftwork cards - swirls

Dies:
Nesties for the circles

Others:
Flowers, buttons and ribbons all from my stuff
