Ombre?

Hi Blogworld

Since discovering the Some Odd Girl digi stamps and that they have a monthly challenge, I've been trying to take part.  I've not always managed it and that's normally because of time - but this month I almost didn't manage it because I had no clue what the October challenge theme was!!

I'm obviously getting very old and very little country mouse-y as I'd never heard of the 'ombre' trend!  Some very kind ladies over at Some Odd World had to explain it to me and I'm still not sure that I've actually got the theme.

But hey-ho, this is actually one card that I (mostly) enjoyed making.  I enjoyed the colouring part of it, the finished card doesn't look exactly as I had imagined - but that's because I had a quick change of paper.

So here's what I ended up with:

The front shot:

The close up:

I used:

Digi Stamp:
Some Odd Girl - Witchy Mae
coloured with my Promarkers

Papers:
Echo Park - Chillingsworth Manor

Dies:
Memory Box - Picket Fence

Anything else?
stars from my stuff

See you soon,

Sarah

A challenge or two:

Some Odd Girl - Ombre

Without Words - October challenge: Pumpkins

Totally Gorjuss - Challenge 204: Anything goes with stars

Graph 'It - Boo!... Halloween's a Scream!

Hi, Sarah! Fab colouring of that quirky SOG witch and I think you've done a fab job of her 'ombre' hair! (I naturally have ombre hair colouring - from brown with a sprinkling of grey to whatever colour I last dyed my hair!) Hugs, Lisa x

Ombre is in trend these days, its just a gradient of color. It can be gradient of one color or more than one colors too, only the colors have to blend into each other flawless :)Thanks for playing along with us at Some Odd Girl.
