Just before bed,

Good evening blogworld,

Well this is a late one for me isn't it!  I thought I'd sneak on before toddling on up the apples to bed - what with it being a school night and all.

I must admit to being glad half-term is over as, my goodness, it's been an odd week!  Me ill the last week of school, Emily ill all week during the half-term and grandad staying at the same time!  Talk about no time to myself at all - was taken up with a sickly daughter who needed lots of attention!  Also turns out Emily's virus went to her ears and she has an ear infection which she is now on antibiotics for and the improvement is remarkable!

So to celebrate our return to health we went out to the cinema today - saw Tinkerbelle and the Pirate Fairy.  It's one of those very rare times when Emily did not cry at all, or want to come out of the film early.  Made such a difference watching a film with a happy child - even if she didn't want to sit next to me, but snuggled up to Daddy!!!

Anyways, waffly waffly waffly.  Onto the card:

Her Close Up:

The Arty Farty:

There's something about this card that just doesn't sit right for me, and it might be the papers or the flowers I'm not sure.  But hey ho, I'm not doing too badly with the colouring (I think!) and I love the image - so I show!

I used:

Digi Stamp:
All Dressed Up - Little Bookworm
coloured with my Copics

Dies:
Memory Box - for the border
Die-namics - for the corner

Papers:
First Edition - New Bloom

Anything else?
Flowers from my stuff
Craftwork Cards - sentiment

That's all from me folks - nighty night!

Sarah

Lovely card Sarah, the colours and papers are really pretty.
I have to say I am glad the girls are back to school/nursery tomorrow, I need some time to clear up!
We have all had coughs and sneezes so didn't get to do many fun things during the week off. We did get to the cinema and also saw Tinkerbelle, my two have never been so quiet!

Oh this is gorgeous Sarah! what a sweet image and your colouring is awesome! I love the pretty papers and flower border! the big flower works really well because the brown in the centre matches the brown in the image… so pulls it all together… love it!!
I'm glad you are both feeling a lot better now… poor Emily… can't have been much fun having a week of school to be ill !! I think we could all do with some sunshine! I still don't feel right after this bug… but just hoping that I pick up as the week goes on!! Lol
Hope you have a good week!
Big hugs
Sue B xx
